All-Russian research-scientific Institute celebrates the 65-th anniversary of its establishing!
The history of VNIIRA that officially commenced on July 10, 1946 year after decree publication of the Council of the ministers of the USSR on establishing Scientific and research Institute of radio navigation equipment is full of different events, achievements and unique facts.
Over the past decades the chief Institute of this branch and powerful trial facilities were created. It made possible to solve many demanding tasks in the area of radio technical systems and air traffic management aids.
As for today VNIIRA is the enterprise with high scientifical and technical potential that makes it possible to expand the applied researches, apply innovative technologies and participate in modernization of the Russian economy. Solving the most difficult and ambitious targets Institute maintains and enriches its leading positions and high reputation.
VNIIRA is far more than:
|70 years of the successful performance for the benefit of air safety;
| 150 prototypes of radio-technical systems and the complex of ground and airborne facilities radio instruments;
| 1 300 inventors’ certificates and patents;
| 60 complexes of ATC automation systems and facilities for airports and regional centers of Russia and other countries;
| 100 types of aircrafts and helicopters employ the airborne equipment, navigation and landing facilities developed by VNIIRA
