12.01.12 - On December 2011 the acceptance and certified tests of ground station ADS-B NS-1A and autonomous monopulse secondary radar ATC A/C/S with functions of enhanced surveillance in mode ADS-B 1090 ES MSSR “Aurora” were successfully completed

Intelligent surveillance sensor «Amber» – is the new generation of surveillance systems based on ADS-B 1090 ES technology and mode S protocols. The latest world-scale achievements in hardware components, design and engineering practices and production have allowed enhancing the equipment integration drastically and reducing overall dimensions of the station without compromising functionality. NS-1А can be used both as a stand-alone or double (reserve) ADS-B 1090 ES ground station and as a receiving station of the Multilateral Surveillance system (MSS).

Monopulse secondary radar “Aurora” with mode S is made according to the last digital technologies.

Standard monitoring in mode S (coordinates: downrange, azimuth, barometric altitude, mode code A, aircraft identification, mode address S) was added to 3 MSSR “Aurora” surveillance channels (RBS, ATC, ADS-B 1090ES).

The radar fully meets the requirements of ICAO Annex 10, volume 4 regarding MSSR and DO-260A RTCA the USA – regarding ADS-В 1090 ES.
