In October 2011 the specialists of VNIIRA completed the program for equipment of air-navigation service of the Republic of Cuba with 6 monopulse secondary surveillance radars with enhanced surveillance function in mode ADS-B 1090 ES «Aurora».

11.11.11 - In October 2011 the specialists of VNIIRA completed the program for equipment of air-navigation service of the Republic of Cuba with 6 monopulse secondary surveillance radars with enhanced surveillance function in mode ADS-B 1090 ES «Aurora».

In October 2011 the specialists of VNIIRA completed an ambitious program for equipment of air-navigation service of the Republic of Cuba with airspace surveillance facilities. As a part of the program 6 Aurora Monopulse secondary surveillance radars that allow controlling the entire territory of the Republic of Cuba were delivered (location channel as well as ADS-B 1090 ES channel).

MSSR with function ADS-B 1090ES “Aurora” allows to monitor up to 500 aircrafts simultaneously at a distance of more than 450 km and at an altitude of up to 20,000 m.

VNIIRA is far more than:
